For people doing real work in Chrome

Chrome was not built for work this big.
UntangleTabs was.

Close the tabs. Keep the thread. Review what is open, save it before anything closes, and find it again without remembering where you put it.

UntangleTabs saves the selected pages first. Active, pinned and protected tabs stay open.

One system, four clear places

Know where the work lives.

No nested folder maze and no mysterious automatic bundles. Each part of UntangleTabs has one job.

  1. Open Tabs is what is happening now.

See the current window in browser order. Search titles, websites and URL paths. Filter audio, pinned and protected pages before you act.

    Current browser window
  2. Sessions are recoverable snapshots.

Name the selected set while it still makes sense. Restore it later, pin it, or copy it in a format your team can read.

    A clear way back
  3. Library is every saved page.

Search by title, website, note, tag or Session name. Large imports stay bounded so one old bookmark folder cannot take over the whole page.

    Find it again
  4. Focus is the quiet home.

Temporarily hide the dashboard extras and work from saved-page search. Exit Focus and everything returns exactly as it was.

    Calm on demand
Real 420-page stress test
UntangleTabs Focus view showing local saved-page search and a Section with 420 saved pages presented as eight preview cards, with a copy and export control

Built for a lot, not a demo folder

420 saved pages. Eight shown. Every one still reachable.

A large import should not become an endless wall. UntangleTabs shows a useful preview, keeps search close, and lets you open or export the complete Section when you need it.

  • Bounded by default

See eight representative pages instead of scrolling past hundreds.

  • Honest local search

Find saved pages from metadata already stored on your device. No AI claim is required.

  • The full set stays intact

Copying the Section includes all 420 ordered URLs, not only the eight shown.

For your next handoff

Move the work.
Not the chaos.

Copy a Space, Section or Session as readable text, Markdown or links. Paste it into Slack, Notion, an email or a project brief without rebuilding the list by hand.

Local-first by design

Your browser is the starting point.

UntangleTabs stores its working data on this device today. You can export a backup, and locked items remain openable, restorable and copyable.

Optional sync, recovery and AI search are later steps. They are not active in this local-first launch build, so the product does not pretend otherwise.

The Chrome launch starts with a free plan. Pro pricing is planned, not on sale yet.

A few straight answers.

What does UntangleTabs actually do?

It gives you a safe way to review and close open tabs, saves the selected set as a named Session, keeps saved pages in a searchable Library, and gives you a quieter Focus view. It does not turn one pile into another mystery pile.

What can search find today?

Saved-page search uses local metadata such as titles, websites, notes, tags and Session names. It does not claim to understand full page content or provide AI answers yet.

Does UntangleTabs close every tab?

No. You review the window first. Only the confirmed safe set closes, while active, pinned and protected tabs stay open.

Can I send a group of tabs to my team?

Yes. Copy a Space, Section or Session as readable text, Markdown or links, then paste it into Slack, Notion, email or another shared tool. Team accounts can come later.

Does it sync across devices?

Not yet. The product is local-first today. Optional sync and recovery are being prepared.

Which browser is launching first?

Google Chrome. UntangleTabs is not claiming support for other browsers at launch.
