Every open tab is a thought you're afraid to put down. That's not a productivity problem. That's fog. The low hum of everything you might be forgetting, pressing on you. You can't think clearly in a room where everything is mid-air.
The mechanism
The Untangle button.
One click. Noise in. Order out.
Hit the button. Eligible web tabs in the current window sweep into a named, dated Session, then close. Pinned tabs and the tab you're using stay put. Nothing is lost; there's an Undo. The browser gets lighter. Your train of thought does not disappear.
Pinned tabs stay. The tab you're on stays. Everything else settles.
How it works

One keystroke (Cmd+Shift+S) saves the page. It lands in your inbox, not in a folder you'll never open. You can close the tab now.
Spaces you can actually look at.
Work. Research. Later. Tiles, not lists. Drag things where they belong when you have thirty seconds. Or don't. Nothing punishes you for not filing.
Type three letters. Hit Enter.
Cmd+K. Title, address, note, or tag. You don't need to remember where you put it. That was the whole point.

Private by design
Your library. Your choice.
Start locally with no account. At launch, optional encrypted sync will add cross-device access and recovery. Leave sync off and your library stays in this browser; turn it on and only the data needed for sync is sent. Read how storage, permissions, and recovery work.
Important: local-only data can be lost if the browser profile or device is lost, reset, or removed. Export backups if you do not use sync.

Does it work offline?
Yes. Local mode works without an account or connection. Optional sync pauses while offline and catches up when you reconnect.
Where does my data live?
In your browser's own storage by default. At launch you can choose encrypted sync for cross-device access and recovery. Without sync, export a JSON backup: uninstalling the extension, losing the device, or resetting the browser profile can otherwise lose local data.
What does Free include?
3 Spaces, 100 bookmarks, 3 Sessions, and 5 reminders, plus search, the command palette, and the Untangle button. Enough to know if this changes how you work.
What does Pro add?
Unlimited Spaces, bookmarks, and reminders; repeating reminders on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule; and the full theme library. Sessions keep your 50 most recent snapshots (starred Kits never count against that).
How will paid billing work?
Paid plans are not open yet. When they launch, monthly and yearly plans will be cancellable without affecting the local data stored on your machine.
